Named after Sir Benjamin D’Urban, Durbanville is halfway between Stellenbosch and Cape Town city centre. The Durbanville wine route is home to Altydgedacht, Bloemendal, D’Aria, Diemersdal, Nitida wine estates. In 2014, all the farms in this region contributed grapes to make a unique sauvignon Blanc. The locals love Eat@Altydgedact, Rust-en-Vrede Art Café and Villa Pascal. The Durbanville Golf Course is an enjoyable challenge due to its luscious rolling slopes. If the V&A Waterfront is too far away, Tyger Valley Centre and Willowbridge will cater for your every need.
